I have been a member of House Party since fall of 2010. I have had a Sabra House Party, Green Works House Party, Budweiser Backyard BBQ House Party, and riceworks House Party! So, this Silk Marvelous Mornings House Party made my 5th House Party since joining!

Silk Party Pack

The party pack arrived in early April for a party on April 21st (though I had mine on the 22nd). It came with 3 Free Silk product coupons, $5 Visa giftcard, a Silk juice glass, a Silk tumbler, Silk Fruit & Protein $1 off coupons (3 per guest), Ninja blender $15 off coupons (1 per guest), Silk paper tasting cups, Silk paper mini plates, Silk paper mini bowls, Silk napkins, Silk Fruit & Protein magnets, and Silk silly straws.

When I found out I had won this House Party, I decided to do a breakfast for dinner party! I bought mini boxes of cereal – General Mills and Kellogg brands, Post Great Grains cereal (had a free product coupon for that), eggs, bacon, salsa, all 3 Silk Fruit & Proteins, Silk Almond, Silk Coconut, a fruit tray, and some pastries. I decided to make Eat:Watch:Run’s Paleo Cupcakes recipe – mine came out alright, but I forgot the garlic and salt (used bacon instead of ham).

I invited most everyone I know here in Columbia (which isn’t that many people, mostly Pete’s family and signif others)…heh…those that came were Pete (of course he loves Silk products), Nicole, Wes, Elizabeth, her son, Anthony, Shannon, and Mark. Pretty good turn out!

I started the party out by having a Silk Fruit & Protein tasting. I had everyone come up 2 at a time to try all 3 flavors. Then we rated them, and found out that the Mixed Berry flavor was the big hit of the party! Mango & Peach 2nd, and last was Strawberry & Banana – who knew? My favorite is Mixed Berry, but I do like them all.

The second we split everyone into two groups…and they competed against each other answering questions about Silk products. Very informational!

As the party rounded down, I gave everyone their coupons and magnet, but forgot to give out the silly straws! I did track down later and gave most theirs.

A few had expressed that they would not like the Silk Fruit & Protein because they do not like Soy milk, but not a single person left thinking that! Even little Z man LOVED Silk Fruit & Protein!

Thanks to House Party I was able to share the love Pete has for Silk products…and I am a bit partial to the Fruit & Proteins…and I do think some of the guests will buy the product.
