About the Product
Fels-Naptha removes stains on their first time through the wash. It can pre-treat dozens of stains and safe on colors. It’s great for dirt, grease, and ring-around-the-collar. It’s easy to use and more effective than spray.

Fels-Naptha is so easy to use! Simply the rub the stain with a wet bar of Purex Fels-Naptha and wait a couple of minutes. Then, wash your clothes as you normally would and say farewell to tough stains for good.

I personally had never heard of this product other than on the Purex sites, but my grandmother and boyfriend had. My grandmother said it’s a really strong bar that works GREAT and agreed that it is used to pre-treat clothing. She also said this product has been around for a long time. This got me excited to try it. My boyfriend said his Aunt used to use it all the time when he was growing up.

Back in April I had my second House Party of the year – Fancy Feast Gourmet Grilled Cheese…what were we in for? I invited cat lover friends and non-cat having friends and it ended up being 11 of us in total partying it up!

Lots to share…so I put together goody bags for party goers and a few others. I purchased Butterball products – Turkey bacon, Turkey burgers, and Turkey Sausage. I was also able to buy buns! Woo.

I decorated with a fall leaves theme…and put around some Butterball logos.

And, the party guests showed up…we cooked up the burgers and bacon and sausage for all to try. Guests brought some food to round out the meal.

The consensus was these Butterball Turkey products were pretty good, better than most thought they would be. We tried the Smoked Sausage and Queso Fundido as an appetizer (this was eaten right up, so I know everyone liked). We tried the turkey bacon with maple syrup and pepper just for fun (and everyone liked, but no one thought it tasted like pork bacon). And, we ate Buffalo turkey burgers or Wine Country turkey burgers with the sides guests brought. Those burgers were really tasty! Everyone was REALLY impressed how good those turkey burger recipes were.

All in all a great house party…and always glad to share wonderful products with friends! Thank you House Party and Butterball.

Woo! When I was picked for the Truvia Sample & Share, I wasn’t thinking they’d also give me the Truvia Brunch Hosted Party, but they did! It’s my first Crowdtap Hosted Party in many months, so I was very excited!

The idea was to host a brunch and bake with Truvia to share the possibilities of this stevia based natural alternative sweetener. They gave us just over a week and a half to have the party, but barely that when I received the party pack. So, since it didn’t arrive in time to combine with our annual Halloween party, I planned to have a brunch the following Sunday. Yes, our Halloween decorations were still up for this party. 🙂

Everything was ready and it was brunch time! M arrived first and we caught up and had mimosas. Then, O arrived and I offered her a mimosa and we all caught up. Lastly, C & R arrived and more mimosas went around. Also, the Foldgers Gourmet Selections was poured for everyone, except R. And, we all posed trying it with Truvia!

I think everyone liked it enough in their coffee, definitely said it was sweet. I told them that one pack was equal to 2 sugar packets, so if they didn’t like that sweet, to try half a Truvia packet.

After we all chatted a bit, we decided to try the Truvia baked goods I had made. Everyone liked them, some the banana bread more, some the raspberry oatmeal bar. When I went back for a second try, I thought there was an aftertaste to them. O had brought a sugar baked good and I have to say, we all noticed a difference. One can really tell if comparing baked goods that sugar is a lot sweeter. I’d be fine eating the Truvia baked goods, so long as I’m not also eating a sugar baked good.

All in all, it was a great time with these ladies…sharing a bit of Truvia while we chatted about life! The party lasted from 1pm until 4:30pm with just the 6 of us (if you count the two times my boyfriend came out and tried the coffee and food, and then helped with the giveaway).

Right, before M left, I had a raffle for the Truvia apron and well, she won! Heh. Congrats M! Everyone else took some packets of Truvia home with them.

The Time When Selena Gomez Calmed Me

Free Old Navy Active Wear Top & Bottom!!

Crowdtap and Old Navy did it again! I was able to get a free Old Navy Active wear top and a bottom last weekend! And, I once again I could share with a friend, this time I took Paula (you really should check out her blog, Eat, Watch, Run), who loves to work out!

We met up at our nearby Old Navy, and I gave her a little bit of information about the Crowdtap free Old Navy clothes, but she had read my blog posts before, so it was quick. Then, off we went to find the Active wear.

We took a couple of pictures, and then, just grabbed any and all tops and bottoms that we wanted to try on. Below are all the ones I took to try on!

Of course, we figured out which Active top and bottom we’d take home for free, but we also both took home a couple extra items.
