It was a wonderful surprise to be invited to another Crowdtap Sample & Share less than a month after I participated in the Old Navy Dress Sample & Share! I knew who I was taking this time, as she had helped me get started with “running” back in 2010. She was the reason I participated and enjoyed being in five 5k’s that year. I had wanted to continue on, but..well there’s always 2013.

My friend, Marisa, joined me for some Old Navy fun on a wonderful mid-December Sunday afternoon. I first explained to her how it worked (I get a free Old Navy product coupon and so does she) and then we wondered around the store picking out ActiveWear to try on…and of course, catching up.

We both tried on a bunch of options…finding some more flattering than others. One of ours, we both just couldn’t believe how it looked, but not in a good way, and no pictures! And, we both had ones that were the wrong size and we never showed the other!

In the end, we both found a great ActiveWear outfit – top and bottom that made us happy! I went with a purple jacket with a half zip and black pants with a matching purple band. Purple is one of my favorite colors…and I just loved how this looked on and how comfortable it was! I can’t wait to wear it out.

It was a lot of fun, as always, and I was so glad this wasn’t like the my very first Sample and Share with ActiveWear in Oct 2011. See the post here. That experience was fun, but very limiting. This experience was not limiting!
