On Saturday in Orlando, we were to celebrate my birthday (was the 14th) at Emeril’s and Universal’s CityWalk and my bestie (Lu) since 7th grade came up from Ft. Myers to join in the fun! The hotel even put her in the same bldg on the same floor!

Since we found out last minute that it was free for FL residents to park after 6pm at Universal, we waited to arrive after that. Universal DOES NOT advertise this, only says $5 after 6pm, so FL Res keep this in mind for future attendance there. Sorry to those I did not inform, but I was a lot busy that night and only found out that night, trust me I would have put it on the evite had I known.

Twelve of us dined and drank at Emeril’s and got a table in the middle of the room. It was a really nice time seeing everyone – JM, NS, SK, EK, MD, PR, FF, FR, MR, and of course, Lu! Pete and I each got two appetizers as our meals. Those that did get an actual dinner course were provided with a sumptuously sized meal. I would definitely eat at Emeril’s again and I do appreciate a menu that is varied for all budgets. Oh, I do have to rave about the Wild Mushroom with Truffles flatbread I had for dinner (3 of us had it)…it was absolutely amazing – amazing – best flatbread EVER.

I got pictures with everyone before most at dinner headed home, and a few of us went on to CityWalk for some dancing and drinking.

PR, FF, Lu, Pete, and I met up with SN, KF, and CJ and quickly figured out that we could hold our leftovers and my bday gifts in a locker! That was awesomely worth the $2 per hour. LOL.

We ended up going to three clubs – Red Coconut, Latin Quarter, and The Groove. The music was pretty good in all three at some points…and of course not so good at other points. Just a few of us danced, most everyone else drank and chatted. And of course, before we left for the night, I got pictures with the rest of them.
